How Does it Work?
High intensity focused ultrasound is released into the dermal and sub-dermal tissue at various depths of the face and/or neck. The focused ultrasound bypasses the skin and heats the tissue to 65c-70c. This causes the bodies natural healing process to increase the production of elastin and collagen fibres. Once these fibres have regenerated stronger and in higher quantity it will lift the area leaving a more youthful appearance.
What Happens during the Treatment?
Our skin specialist will discuss your requirements during your consultation and a patch test will be performed.
After a minimum of 48 hours you can return for the full treatment. A grid pattern will be drawn on your face and ultrasound gel will be applied to the skin. Our specialist with then begin the treatment, the machine will emit high intensity focused ultrasound into selected areas of the skin.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
Only 1 session is needed and the results will last up to 18 months - 2 years!
What Areas can I have the Treatment?
Any part of the face or neck.
Does it Hurt?
The treatment can feel heated and can be uncomfortable over certain areas such as the jawline and brow. The power output can be altered to suit the clients comfort level.
Are There any Side Effects?
There are little to no side effects, you can return to your daily routine straight away!
When will I see results?
Many clients will see an immediate plumping and tightening of the skin. However results will continue to increase over the next 3-6 months. You will be invited to attend a post treatment review after 4 months.
